Public speaking was probably my greatest fear. My nemesis. I would nearly pass out at the thought of speaking up in a meeting, never mind standing up in front of a crowded room to speak.
There’s a time I would have done anything to avoid it.
But this niggling voice at the back of my head kept telling me that if I don’t crack it I’ll never achieve what I want in my career. And that voice was right.
Being able to deliver a brilliant presentation is career changing. It’s the best advertisement there is for your skills, your talents, for your capability and potential. And it can be a skill that changes your life. It certainly changed mine! Now one of he best bits of my life is getting up in front of a crowd and inspiring them to believe they can achieve whatever they set their minds to. You can too!
